Vote by mail
Apply to vote by mail for current by-elections in Hamilton East—Stoney Creek, Scarborough Southwest and York—Simcoe:
- Deadline: 6 PM (ET) on August 28
- Apply by:
- using the online vote-by-mail application; or
- downloading and printing a paper application
Receiving your voting kit:
- Once your application is approved, a voting kit with a ballot will be mailed to the mailing address provided
Tracking your voting kit:
- Track your voting kit using the confirmation code received after submitting your online application
- If you provided an email address, your confirmation code will also be sent to you by email
Returning your voting kit:
- Completed voting kits must be received by 6 PM (ET) on September 3 to be counted
- Return your voting kit by:
- using the prepaid envelope provided with the voting kit; or
- dropping it off at your local election office
- If you are outside Canada, you are responsible for international postage
