Yes, you can vote if you:
- will be 18 years or age or older on election day; and
- are a Canadian citizen; and
- are a resident of Hamilton East—Stoney Creek or Scarborough Southwest or York—Simcoe

If you are unable to go to a voting location in person to vote in the Scarborough Southwest and York—Simcoe by-elections, you can vote:
- by mail (application must be received by 6 PM (ET) on August 28)
- by arranging a home visit (from August 6 until 6 PM on September 2)
- Contact your local election office to request a home visit
