Financial Statements

All registered political parties, constituency associations, candidates, leadership contestants and third parties must file financial statements with Elections Ontario.

If you are a chief financial officer (CFO) for an Ontario provincial political entity, you need to know the financial filing requirements under the Election Finances Act. You can find information about filing requirements here.

Our Political Financing and Party Information application can be used to find financial statements and publicly disclosable contributions from 2014 to present.

Any person can examine registration documents and financial statements filed by registered entities by visiting our head office. These documents are all hard copy. There is no electronic search.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Eastern Time).

You can contact us to order photocopies of financial statements. Copies are available for $1.00 per page. Payment in advance by cheque or money order is required for this service.
