Provincial Voter Registration Month
March has been recognized by the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as Provincial Voter Registration Month! Through a province-wide advertising campaign and series of campus visits and community events, we will be working hard to encourage Ontarians to confirm, update or add their information to the Voters List using e-Registration.
Voters who are registered will receive a Voter Information Card in the mail, which will include important information about where, when and how to vote in the general election on June 7.
We will also be using Provincial Voter Registration Month as an opportunity to inform 16 and 17 year olds that they can now register to become Future Voters online using e-Registration. Information from the Ontario Register of Future Voters is automatically transferred to the Voters List when a person turns 18.
See below for details of where you can find us as we visit communities across Ontario, and don’t forget to get involved on social media using #GetONit.
Throughout Provincial Voter Registration Month, we will be appearing in communities across Ontario to encourage voters to confirm, update or add their information to the Voters List using e-Registration. We will be visiting sports games, cinemas, and community centres to make sure as many Ontarians as possible know how easy it is to get ready for election day on June 7.

To promote elector engagement among voters aged 18-24, we are visiting around 50 post-secondary campuses across Ontario throughout March. During these visits, we will be providing information and assistance to students on how to confirm, update or add their information to the Voters List using e-Registration. We will be taking our augmented reality wall on the road with us, which students can use to find out more information about voting, and our answerbot Owen will also be making an appearance to answer any election questions!
Check back later for updates from some of the visits as they take place.
