Simply put, you vote at what is called a voting location.
Shortly after an election is called, Notice of Registration cards are sent to all eligible voters whose names appear on the Voters List for their electoral district.
The address of the polling place where you vote on election day is provided on the Notice of Registration Card. It is also provided on the Certificate to Vote issued to voters whose names were not included on the Voters List. (See the Voters List for more information.)
Polling places are set up in the electoral district by the Returning Officer. They are centrally located, and may include such locations as schools or community centres. In addition, polls may be located in nursing homes and long-term care facilities to make it convenient for the residents to vote.

Communications devices, such as cellular phones and pagers, may not be used in polling places within the electoral district unless the Returning Officer's permission has been received in advance.
