Electoral District Description:
Population: 78,755
Consisting of:
(a) the Territorial District of Kenora, excepting that part lying easterly of a line described as follows: commencing at the most northerly northeast corner of the Territorial District of Thunder Bay; thence northerly along the northerly production of the easterly limit of the Territorial District of Thunder Bay to the northerly limit of the Province of Ontario;
(b) that part of the Territorial District of Rainy River lying westerly of a line described as follows: commencing at the intersection of the southerly limit of said district with the 4th Meridian Line; thence north along said meridian line to the southerly boundary of the Township of Atikokan; thence westerly along the southerly boundary of the Township of Atikokan to the southwest corner thereof; thence northerly along the westerly boundary of said township and its northerly production to the northerly limit of the Territorial District of Rainy River;
(c) that part of the Territorial District of Thunder Bay lying northerly and westerly of a line described as follows: commencing at the intersection of the west limit of the Territorial District of Thunder Bay with the 6th Base Line; thence east along said base line to the southeast corner of the geographic Township of Bertrand; thence north along the east boundary of the geographic townships of Bertrand, McLaurin, Furlonge, Fletcher and Bulmer; thence north along the undesignated meridian line to the northerly limit of the Territorial District of Thunder Bay.
