TORONTO, January 12, 2007 — Ontario’s Assistant Chief Election Officer, Loren Wells, announced today that the returning offices are open in the Electoral Districts of Burlington, Markham and York South-Weston.
Qualified electors may contact their returning office to have their names added to the voters list, confirm or update their information, or obtain information about applying for a job as an election worker.
To be eligible to vote, on polling day a person must be:
- 18 years of age or older,
- a Canadian citizen, and
- a resident of the electoral district.
