Complaints
The Chief Electoral Officer administers the Election Act and the Election Finances Act. Complaints regarding offences of election legislation must be made in writing.

If you write to us, please be sure to include:
- Your name
- The mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address where we can contact you
- A detailed description of what you are complaining about – in other words the “who, what, when, and where” of your complaint.
We review the facts and circumstances of the complaints sent to us. When you make a complaint, we send you a personal written acknowledgement. We will write to you if we need more information from you. As matter of policy, we do not publicly comment on who has complained to us.
If the Chief Electoral Officer believes there is an apparent contravention of one of these laws, the matter may be referred to the Attorney General of Ontario. Our policy is that the outcomes of any investigations are referred to in the next report tabled with the Legislative Assembly. We may not contact you again until a report is made to the Legislative Assembly.
If your complaint is about something these laws do not cover, we will tell you and try to refer you to the appropriate agency that can help you.

Directions to 51 Rolark Drive
51 Rolark Drive is in the heart of Scarborough in an industrial area.
Rolark Drive runs north off Ellesmere Road, one block west of Birchmount (between Birchmount and Warden Avenue). Rolark Drive curves to the east and ends at Birchmount, one block north of Ellesmere (between Ellesmere and Sheppard Avenue).
TTC Bus Route:
You can reach 51 Rolark Drive by taking either the 95 York Mills (Ellesmere) bus or the 17 Birchmount bus, connecting from subway stations, the LRT or other buses. To connect, please use the following link for all TTC Accessible Route maps: www.ttc.ca.
Please note that if you take the northbound Birchmount bus, it is safest to get off at Ellesmere rather than at the Rolark Drive stop, as there are no traffic lights at or near the bus stop.
From the northwest corner of Birchmount and Ellesmere, proceed one block west and turn north on Rolark Drive. Please be aware that there is no sidewalk and caution should be exercised as there is a ditch that runs parallel to the street.
51 Rolark Drive is entered through the sixth driveway on the east side of the street (that is, the right side of the street when going north from Ellesmere). The public entrance is on the south side of the building.

Take the 401 West. Exit at Kennedy Road.
Go South on Kennedy Road to Ellesmere Road.
Go West on Ellesmere past the lights at Birchmount Avenue
Take the 1st right on to Rolark Drive.
Take the 401 East. Exit at Warden Avenue.
Go South on Warden Avenue to Ellesmere Road.
Go East on Ellesmere Road.
Turn left on to Rolark Drive.
The public entrance is on the south side of the building. Visitor parking, including accessible parking, is available.
