Using your mouse (Step 1):

  1. Open the Tools menu.
  2. Select Internet Options.
  3. Select the Accessibility button.
  4. Check the box "Ignore colours specified on web page."
  5. To confirm your choice and return to Internet Options click the OK icon. The text and backgrounds on websites will now display the colour scheme set on your computer. If you are satisfied with this colour scheme, press OK.

Using your keyboard (Step 1):

  1. Press Alt and T on your keyboard to open the Tools menu.
  2. Press Alt and O on your keyboard to select Internet Options.
  3. Press Alt and E on your keyboard to select Accessibility.
  4. Press Alt and C on your keyboard to "Ignore font sizes specified on web page."

Using your mouse (Step 2):

  1. Open the View menu.
  2. Select the Text Size tab.
  3. Choose your preferred text size (largest to smallest). 
  4. Click with your mouse.

Using your keyboard (Step 2):

  1. Press Alt and V on your keyboard.
  2. Press Alt and X on your keyboard.
  3. Choose your preferred text size (largest to smallest) by using your arrow keys.
  4. Press Enter on your keyboard.

To change the whole browser window:

  1. Zoom in: on your keyboard, press Ctrl and + (plus sign) at the same time.
  2. Zoom out: on your keyboard, press Ctrl and (minus sign) at the same time.

To change the whole browser window

Using your mouse:

Open the View menu, choose Zoom and select Zoom In or Zoom Out as required.

Using your keyboard:

Press Command and + to zoom in, Command and - to zoom out. Press Command and 0 to return to standard zoom.

To enlarge text

Using your mouse:

  1. Open the View menu, choose Zoom and select Zoom Text Only.
  2. Once selected, open the View menu, choose Zoom and select Zoom In or Zoom Out as required.

Using your keyboard:

  1. Press Control and F2 and navigate through the menu using your arrow keys to select View, press Return.
  2. Navigate using your arrow keys to Zoom, press Return.
  3. Navigate using your arrow keys to Zoom Text Only and press Return to select.
  4. Once Zoom Text Only is selected press Command and + to zoom text in, Command and - to zoom text out. Press Command and 0 to return to standard zoom.

Using your mouse:

  1. Open the View menu.
  2. Select Make Text Bigger or Make Text Smaller (or Make Text Normal Sized) as required.

Using your keyboard:

  1. Press Command and + to Make Text Bigger, Command and - to Make Text Smaller.
  2. Press Command and 0 to return to Make Text Normal Sized.
