The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, an independent Agency of the Legislative Assembly, is committed to being transparent, open and accountable. We will be proactively reporting on the details of travel and hospitality expenses in this section of our website.
Information related to travel and hospitality expenses incurred by the Chief Electoral Officer, the Deputy Chief Electoral Officer and the Chief Operating Officer will be posted at the end of November 2010, January 2011, May 2011 and on a quarterly basis moving forward.
Elections Ontario has developed rules and principles governing travel and hospitality. The policy will be made available online following January 2011.
